Butler sees over $450K in state funding for property tax relief

Butler County is receiving $458,702.09 for 2013, as part of the property tax reduction bill.

According to Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds’ released data from the Iowa Department of Revenue, Butler is getting $156,758.18 in state back-fill funding, and taxpayers are collecting $301,943.91 in credits.

The funding to Iowa counties is part of Senate File 295,which Branstad signedinto law on June 12, 2013.
