Business spotlight: Cedar Valley Roofing

Allison resident Kevin Adelmund opened a new business this January: Cedar Valley Roofing, based at 215 W 9th Street in Cedar Falls.
     Cedar Valley Roofing installs shingled, rubber and steel roofs for residential and commercial properties and offers customers free estimates and inspections. They also offer an insured and bonded service.
     “We do really anything: rubber roofing, flat roofs, shingles and steel,” said Adelmund.
     While the business may be new, roofing isn’t a new field for Adelmund, who has done roofing work off and on for the past five or six years. After working for another contractor and doing some roofing on his own, he realized he enjoyed the freedom of working for himself.
