GREENE — Tax rates at North Butler will drop at least 50 cents per $1,000 assessed valuation in the coming tax year.
North Butler Superintendent Joel Foster said the budget that was being certified to the state wasn't necessarily final.
“There’s most likely no way these are going to be final numbers because the legislature hasn’t set supplemental state aid yet," Foster said. "We’re required to publish early, so we have to publish at the highest tax rate."
