Bristow’s new splash pad arrived May 17.
The splash pad, from Outdoor Recreation Products of Ames, is to go in Memorial Park, east of the shelter house and south of the playground equipment.
Bristow Betterment Group was tentatively awarded its full request for a community attraction and tourism (CAT) grant for its Splash Pad Project at $28,760, earlier this year. The Butler County Board of Supervisors committed 10 percent of the state grant award to the project last fall, which comes to $2,876.
The project involves construction of a splash pad in Memorial Park in Bristow, population 160.
