Brandon Trees goes back-to-back in tourney named for his great-uncle

GREENE – Protecting the family name isn’t always easy, but North Butler junior 152-pounder Brandon Trees has done just fine so far.
Wrestling in his second Doug Trees Bearcat Invitational, named for his great-uncle, Brandon knows the significance of winning the tournament with his name on it.
“My grandpa and he are brothers,” Brandon Trees said. “It would be awesome (to win it this year), I won it last year right when he got into the Hall of Fame and got to shake his hand and everything. It’s a pretty awesome experience..."
