Beckman visits Clarksville schools

The speakers blared with well-known songs and within seconds the entire crowd was clapping their hands.Then, a Cha Cha Slide dance-off ensued.
     That’s just the type of environment Joe Beckman wanted to create for his motivational speech.
     Clarksville Schools, along with conference neighbors Janesville, Riceville, and CAL-Latimer, had the once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Beckman speak on Tuesday, December 5, in Clarksville’s gym.
     Beckman began his speech by talking about how human connection matters. He went on to describe how nowadays, our society is less focused on connecting with each other, and more focused on connecting with technology.
