Bearcats run at tough Go-Hawk Invite

WAVERLY – The North Butler cross country teams competed at one of the toughest meets of the year on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the annual Dick Pollitt Go-Hawk Invitational at Waverly.
A grand total of 28 teams from all three classes were in attendance in a meet that features grade races (freshman-senior).
Individual grade team scoring and cumulative girls and boys team scoring were calculated in the meet. The Bearcat senior boys were 17th, the sophomore boys were eighth, the freshmen boys were 10th and the cumulative boys team score was 20th out of 25.
“The kids went out and battled and several runners had satisfying times on the young season,” North Butler coach Kirk Clark said....
