ALLISON – Coming back for the second time in a week, the North Butler baseball time rallied by Northwood-Kensett at home 14-4 on Friday, June 5 in Allison.
The Bearcats (3-1, 2-1 Corn Bowl Conference) trailed 3-0 after the second inning following some miscues on bunt plays by the Vikings in what coach Travis Miller called an ‘ugly game.’
“I don’t know, tonight obviously, a win’s a win,” Miller said. “It’s just sloppy baseball on our part, from start to end as far as errors; it wasn’t pretty. We’re just fortunate to come out of here with a win tonight, so a lot of things have got to get cleaned up before next week, that’s for sure.”
