Bearcats leave five base runners stranded on third in loss to Central Springs

ALLISON – Oh for the want of a timely hit.

North Butler had six hits, reached on a walk and three errors, but couldn’t push more than one run through against Central Springs in a 4-1 loss on Wednesday, June 25.

The most disappointing thing for coach Travis Miller’s team was the fact base runners were left stranded at third in five different innings of the game.

“The funny part about it is we actually have the best batting average in our conference right now,” Miller said. “Our record doesn’t show it and when you watch our games sometimes it doesn’t show it, either...."
