Bearcats bring home medals

DES MOINES – All three North Butler wrestlers who qualified for the Class 1A state wrestling tournament in Des Moines last week were able to stand on the podium after a hard few days of wrestling.

The Bearcats had a pair of returning state finalists, but showed that it is hard to get to the finals match as both Caleb Wedeking and Cody Nelson were unable to reach the Saturday night match this time.
