Bearcat cross country ends season

CEDAR FALLS – The North Butler cross country team competed in the Class 1A state qualifying cross country meet at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The Bearcats were unable to advance runners to the state meet as only the top 15 individuals or top three teams advanced.
Completing the top finish for coach Kirk Clark’s team was senior girls runner, Isabel Derdzinski, who finished 25th in 22 minutes, 2 seconds.
“This was Isabel’s last race for the Bearcats as she will be graduating in the Spring,” Clark said....
