Basement fire takes house between Clarksville, Plainfield

A fire seized a farmhouse Saturday morning in northeast Clarksville.

A property at 16882 Willow Ave. on the boundary line between Plainfield and Clarksville was up in flames through the roof by the time both towns’ fire departments arrived, getting the page at 9:15 a.m.

The structure was already lost before the fire crews got there, however, they were able to salvage the attached garage and vehicle inside of it.
