Ballhagen closes out career at state

FORT DODGE – North Butler senior Jerod Ballhagen closed out his cross country career by finishing 52nd overall in the 1A state meet at Fort Dodge on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Ballhagen ran 18 minutes, 0.3 seconds for his finish.

Throughout the race, he kept pace with fellow Corn Bowl Conference runner Austin Steil of West Fork until the final stretch.
