Ball camp raises funds for school program

GREENE — Bats swung and pitches flew— in different gyms — as a six-week baseball camp started Sunday, Feb. 22.
  North Butler assistant varsity baseball coach Joey Miller spoke to half a dozen early elementary students in the new at North Butler High School gym about batting.
  The students were to take five cuts each.

  Registration is under way until all spots are filled, (program director) Travis Miller said. Rounds are from 1-6 p.m. A registration fee benefits the school’s baseball program, he said.
