Every spring, Anna Lee’s and Butler County State Bank Antiques open for business as the weather warms up. This year they opened April 11.
Located on Main Street, the stores are open from 10-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
At Anna Lee’s, owner Lee Jenison sells a collective mix of repurposed and vintage items. Some of the decorative ironwork offered was made by her husband Kent Jenison, who offers antiques at his store in the bank building, which was built in 1882.
Walking into Butler County State Bank Antiques is like visiting a museum. There’s a little bit of everything, but everything is old. There are chairs and other furniture, a bath tub, instruments, silverware, quilts, paintings and books.
