Allison, Dumont, Greene, Bristow & Aredale election results

Allison
    According to unofficial election results from the Butler County Auditor, James Blockhus was elected as Allison Mayor with 60 votes last evening. There were six write-in votes for other residents.
    Ron Davis retained his seat on the Allison Council with 58 votes. Write-in candidate Jodi Bangasser received 39 votes and will fill the seat left by the retirement of Ryan Henrichs. 16 other write-in votes were cast, but those were divided among nine other individuals.
Dumont
    Edwin Mouw was re-elected Dumont mayor with 80 votes. There were eight write-ins. David Shear retained his spot on the council with 53 votes, while newcomer Mary Tyrell (45 votes) will replace incumbent Jan Reysack (38 votes). Write-in candidate Shawn McGrane garnered 28 votes and write-in Dan Lundstrom received most of the remaining 14 write-in votes.
Greene
    Mayor James O’Brien was re-elected. Council seats were won by Allan Zweck (166 votes), Marnie Schmidt (144) and Denise Shreve (121). Randy Bills received 109 votes. Matthew Watkins had 104 votes, and there were 11 write-ins.
Bristow
    In Bristow, Dennis Peterson was re-elected mayor with 19 votes. Council candidates Mitch Grummitt (21 votes), Curt Lewis (19 votes), Kevin Snyder (19 votes) and Dennis Palmer (16 votes) were all elected, as well as write-in Wendell Groen with 21 out of all 25 write-in votes.
Aredale
    Aredale mayor Rodney McKinney was re-elected with 17 votes and no opposition. Write-ins swept the council. Virgil Homer received 14 votes. Deb Homer received 13 votes and Mardee Johnson 12 votes. Incumbents Rita Oleson and Michael Oleson received 5 and 4 votes, respectively. Four other write-in votes were cast.
