50-year Cats reunion draws 45 together

Around 45 Allison Cats celebrated their 50-year reunion during Wilder Daze.

Ranae Boomgarden, who grew up rooting for the Cats and spent a year planning the event, managed to rally over 30 former players together, along with the 13 current players and family members.

All told, 100 Cat lovers met up under a tent on Main Street for a meal, memories and fun, with memorabilia, pictures and jerseys on display.
