44th Annual Diabetes Trail Ride reset to Oct. 8, 9

Owing to recent heavy rains that left lots of water on the trails, the 44th Annual Juvenile Diabetes Trail Ride has been rescheduled to Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9 in rural Clarksville.
When Butch Freeseman’s son Rodney was 1 ½, the boy was diagnosed with diabetes. Soon after, in 1972, the elder Freeseman, of Allison, started the annual trail ride to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
“The water’s just too high,” Freeseman said. “It was just impossible to have it this coming weekend.”
