2016 Christmas Cheer Project still $800 short

ALLISON (BCVOW) — Butler County Visions of Well-Being in its 2016 Christmas Cheer Project gave baskets to 184 households on Dec. 10.
Eligible households were provided with baskets of food, soaps, paper products and Butler County Bucks, as well as additional items, described later.
The recipients were very thankful. Donations were requested from Butler County and the surrounding area and were received from individuals, organizations and businesses.
As of Friday, Dec. 30, approximately $13,200 had been received in donations, and expenses for the project were approximately $14,000.
There is still time to donate. BCVOW is still in need of approximately $800 to cover the expenses for Christmas Cheer this year. Donations may be sent to BCVOW, PO Box 744, Allison, IA 50602.
